With International flights now resumed both into and outside Kenya, there have been a flurry of rules and regulations for air travel. One of these is a valid Covid-19 test. Diani Beach Hospital offers PCR Covid-19 tests in partnership with government and IATA approved centers for testing (as required for flying).
We have trained and qualified staff in the laboratory with full PPE for sample collection and we dispatch the samples the same day it is collected for faster reporting. The average turnaround time for the test is 30-36 hours – so please plan accordingly while flying out of the country. Our PCR test results come with a TT code (as is now required to fly).

Days of the week test offered: 7 days a week.
Time of collection of sample: 7 AM to 11 AM. Samples collected after 11 AM will only be run for test the following day.
Test cost: KES 10,000 per test (2,000 additional for a rapid test with results available by midday the next day).
We also offer same day antigen tests (results take approximately 2-4 hours). This test costs KES 4,000 per test.
