Our ICU is equipped with cutting-edge medical technology and staffed by a dedicated team of experienced doctors, nurses, and specialists who provide 24/7 care to ensure the best possible outcomes for critically ill patients.
Our ICU is designed to manage complex medical cases, including patients recovering from major surgeries, severe infections, heart conditions, trauma, respiratory failure, and other critical health concerns. We are committed to delivering compassionate, comprehensive care in a supportive and safe environment.
Post-Operative Recovery: For patients who have undergone complex or major surgeries, including cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, and trauma surgery, the ICU provides specialized care to ensure a safe recovery and address any complications.
Dialysis: We offer renal support for patients who are experiencing kidney failure or other renal complications.
Our ICU is equipped with 3 beds, each with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment to provide individualized, critical care to every patient. We maintain a high nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring that each patient receives the attention and care they need during their stay in the ICU.
The Intensive Care Unit/High Dependency Unit was designed to address the needs of critically ill patients and was established in the year 2004. In 2019 we upgraded the ICU into a comprehensive unit with 3 beds with facilities to rival the best in the industry. Our current ICU is a 3 bed ICU with the following features:
The ICU to its credit till date has helped several lives over the course of the past decade or so. We routinely manage heart attacks (including thrombolysis), strokes, endocrine and metabolic emergencies, drowning cases to name a few. The ICU has been acclaimed by many to be the best in the South Coast of Kenya and caters to a large number of residents and tourists alike.
