An international consortium expressed interest in investing in the hospital after going through the success stories and this has led to more expansions in the hospital and its allied clinics.
Addition of 4 more dialysis machines to expand the renal unit.
NICU: Diani Beach Hospital becomes the first facility to have a Neonatal ICU in the entire Kwale County. A dedicated Neonatologist will be in charge of this unit. With 3 beds we are fully geared to face the challenging field of Neonatology. New HDU beds and a post-op recovery ward have been added.
2 D Echo – A MindRay 2D Echo was acquired to aid in the diagnosis of various cardiac ailments.
Vascular Doppler – To assist in diagnosing and managing various peripheral arterial and venous disorders. Colposcopy to aid in the diagnosis of various Cervical pathologies.
