Methods of Payment

  • Settling accounts if you are paying by yourself:

If you wish to settle the hospital bills by yourself you can pay by cash (Kenyan Shillings/ Euros/US Dollars/Great Britain Pounds), Visa or Master card, and Traveler’s Cheques. We do not accept personal cheques or currencies apart from those mentioned above. You will get a detailed itemized invoice and upon payment a receipt will be issued. You can ask for a medical report from the treating doctor for your reference. All payments should be made at the Administrator’s office.

  • Settling your account if you are insured:

Diani Beach Hospital is recognized and affiliated to most International and domestic health insurance agencies. Upon admission the administrator will ask for your insurance documents. The administrator will then get in touch with the insurance company and do the needful. You may need to only pay any policy excesses and extra charges (mentioned in charges) and charges incurred towards contacting the insurance companies by fax or phones. Once we receive a guarantee of payment from the insurance company there is nothing else you need to do. If in the rare case there is no guarantee of payment before your departure date we would request you to settle the bill and claim back from the insurance company upon your return.
